The Asian Games is a multi-sport event held every four years among athletes from all over Asia. The first games were held in New Delhi, India, in 1951. Since then it has been held 19 times with the most recent being Indonesia’s Jakarta Palembang 2018.

European Games
The European Games are an international multi-sport event involving participants from the European Olympic Committees (EOC). The first edition was held in 2015, with the second edition scheduled to be held in Minsk, Belarus in 2022.
World University Championships
The World University Championships is a tournament for university students. The event is organized by the International University Sports Federation (FISU), and it’s held in the same year as the World University Games, which are also run by FISU.
The first edition of this competition took place in 1973 in Grenoble, France. It featured just under 2,000 participants from 18 countries who competed across nine different sports and disciplines: athletics; basketball; fencing; football (soccer); judo; swimming & diving; table tennis; volleyball and water polo.
Pan American Games
The Pan American Games are held every four years, and have been since 1951. The first games were hosted by Buenos Aires, Argentina. Since then, they’ve been hosted in other cities across South America–Santiago (1961), Mexico City (1975) and Rio de Janeiro (1991).
The next Pan American Games will be held in Lima, Peru from July 26 to August 11 of 2019!
